Join the NSW Branch Committee as they present the
Image Interpretation Series 2026
Sharpen your image interpretation skills with our four-part Image Interpretation Series, designed to strengthen confidence, clinical reasoning and professional judgement across medical radiation practice.
The first three sessions focus on diagnostic radiography, developing and refining image interpretation skills that support the see something, say something approach and Preliminary Image Evaluation (PIE). These sessions emphasise recognising normal and abnormal appearances, identifying when supplementary imaging is required, and refining imaging to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
The final session explores unexpected and incidental findings on CT and MRI, a topic highly relevant to both diagnostic radiographers and radiation therapists. This session focuses on recognising unanticipated findings, understanding their potential clinical significance and appropriately escalating concerns within multidisciplinary teams.
Whether you are early in your career, consolidating core skills, or seeking targeted professional development, this series offers practical, clinically relevant learning delivered by experienced presenters from across Australia and overseas. Image interpretation underpins safe, high-quality, person-centred medical radiation practice. Join us for this engaging series and strengthen your confidence to recognise, interpret, and communicate what matters most in medical images.
