Principles of MRS Clinical Supervision
Are you a clinical educator or a junior practitioner interested in developing your clinical supervision skills?
All MRS clinical educators, students, and other interested MRS professionals are invited to join us ONLINE.
The ASMIRT NSW Branch, looks forward to welcoming you to a diverse program, presented by industry professionals with interest and expertise in the field of clinical education and supervision.
The theme for the event is DARE. Each presenter will explore a different aspect of clinical education including leadership, the current climate of clinical education, and the needs of students (especially after COVID-19), and discuss essential clinical supervision skills for junior radiographers e.g., how to provide effective feedback.
Our speakers include:
- Kym Barry – Lecturer in Nuclear Medicine, and Academic Clinical Coordinator for Nuclear Medicine at CSU
- Adam Steward – Clinical Tutor at Western Health in Melbourne
- Linda Thebridge - Vascular Sonographer, Section Chief at the RNSH
- Dr. Andrew Kilgour – Senior Lecturer in Medical Imaging, and Academic Clinical Coordinator for Medical Imaging at CSU
- Dr. Yobelli Jimenez - Lecturer, The University of Sydney
The event will provide an opportunity to support students, graduates, and practitioners in developing key skills and a pathway to progress in clinical supervision.
