Registering your workplace for the Student Pantry Initiative is a simple, practical way to support students while they are on clinical placement. 

When you register, you can choose from the following starter pack options to suit your workplace setup:

  • Option 1: Promotional posters and stickers
  • Option 2: Promotional posters and stickers plus a cardboard Student Pantry hamper box for you to add good (and healthy) food.

Once your starter pack arrives, setting up is easy:

  • Select a visible and accessible location in your workplace
  • Use the posters and stickers to clearly identify the Student Pantry
  • Stock the Pantry with nourishing, grab-and-go food to help fuel and support students during busy placement days

Suggested items include:

  • protein-rich snacks (such as muesli bars, or yoghurt pouches)
  • healthy, shelf-stable snacks
  • easy nourishing options that can be quickly accessed between shifts

After setup, the Pantry can be topped up by individuals, teams, or departments in a way that works best for your workplace.

Every Student Pantry helps create a welcoming, supportive environment for students and reflects the collective care of the MRS community.
