There are many ways you can celebrate so, get your team together and get involved. Here’s just a few ideas:

AT WORK

• Decorate your department with NRRTW posters and balloons – get the word out and make sure everybody knows that it’s the week to celebrate Radiographers and Radiation Therapists
  
• Have a staff morning tea, lunch or afternoon tea, a BBQ or sausage sizzle
  
• Host a Quiz Night OR do a presentation at the hospital – invite the public, patients and other staff to learn about radiography and your role
  

IN THE COMMUNITY

• Visit your local schools and describe the department’s work and the career opportunities that the profession offers
  
• Approach your local newspaper or radio station and do an interview or supply a news release about what your department does to celebrate NRRTW
  

STAY SOCIAL

• Take photos of you and your colleagues celebrating and post them to the ASMIRT Facebook and Twitter pages with the hashtags #NRRTW and #RadiationPopulationProtection
